It’s beginning to look a lot like Yorkie Holidays Shenanigans!
The Holidays can be a fun time for every-pawdy!
Yorkies can bring about Holiday Shenanigans. I wanted to share the antics that Yorkies can get up to during the Holiday Season.
Who doesn’t love the 12 Days of Christmas?!
What’s even better is when it’s with a Yorkie twist!
Last year, we shared the joy of a Yorkie Christmas Story.
Shiny Tinsel is pretty…
But make sure you hang it up out of your pet’s reach, or for the highest level of pet safety, simply don’t use it. Ingesting tinsel can potentially block their intestines, which is generally only remedied through surgical means.
Do not put lights on the tree’s lower branches.
If you’re like me, you want lights everywhere on your tree but there’s a small problem. Not only can your pet get tangled up in the lights, but they can also cause burns on both cats and dogs if they become entangled. Additionally, your dog or cat may inadvertently get shocked by biting through the wire.
Tempting Holiday Treats
The smell of succulent turkey wafting from the kitchen is as irresistible to our pets as it is to us. Avoid leaving food anywhere in your pet’s reach – you can’t blame them if it’s left unattended! But it’s not just about protecting your Christmas dinner. Many foods we love can make pets unwell, and turkey bones can become stuck in their throat if swallowed.
